We were the victims of a "Maui Mugging," where a whale-watching boat stops and is approached by blue whales. The whales surrounded our boat for over an hour as we watched them frolic in the water... It was truly amazing. After they decided to leave, the boat could then also leave, but no one was in a hurry to go.
