The raw spherical video from the Xiaomi 360 cam (3456x1728) was provided by Mic Ty (360rumors.blogspot.com) and he owns the rights to the video. I tried to find the layout for the two spheres inside a 3840x1920 frame to be stitched as good as possible with the Muvee stitching tool (for Mac) and this is how far I've got at the moment, Adjusting the layout pixel by pixel and finetune it more can give closer to a perfect stitch eventually. Apps I used: QuickTime Pro: to upscale the Xiaomi raw video to 3840x1920 using Apple Prores 422 HQ. VideoCanvas editing software: to arrange the spheres in a layout that can be stitched with the Muvee 360 video stitcher. Because Muvee is a simple drag n drop stitcher, it stitch exactly the same areas every time so we have to arrage the layout to let it stitch properly. Handbrake: to encode the Apple prores 422 HQ mov to a H265 MP4 (what Muvee wants...). Muvee 360 video stitcher: to stitch the H265 video Muvee comes in two versions...$49 consumer version (for one computer) (what I use) that gives a H264 stitched video -and a $199 Pro version (for three computers) that gives Prores 422 stitched video.
