Most Yokogawa Test & Measurement instruments can be automated with our free scripting tool "DLTerm". This program uses the command set from the instrument's communication library, typically a SCPI/GPIB/ASCII format mnemonic. It is a good way to rapidly prototype automation code before writing a fully custom software routine in C/C++, Visual Basic, or LabVIEW. The instrument is connected to a computer using Ethernet, USB, or GPIB. This video demonstrates the ability to automatically sequence various setups and measurements with a DL850 ScopeCorder.
