This prototype integrates our computational geometry engine in an inspection tool that processes measurements coming from a 3D scanner. The software accurately compares the input point cloud with reference CAD data, detecting defects produced during the manufacturing process. It has been designed to deliver the maximum performance and accuracy required to satisfy the highest industry standards, reducing to the minimum the time needed during on-site quality controls. The results of the measurements are stored in the cloud providing new ways to access, share and analyse the data.
